Travis Outlaw, dubbed “Mr. Fourth Quarter” a season ago, nailed a fade away jumper from eight feet with 8.9 seconds to play in the final quarter, lifting the Portland Trail Blazers (21-14) to a 84-83 victory over the Detroit Pistons (21-12) in front of their 44th consecutive sell-out crowd at the Rose Garden Wednesday night."

The Trail Blazers swept the season series against the Pistons with the win. Portland is now 11-2 against the Eastern Conference.

“Our guys scrapped,” head coach Nate McMillan said. “We scrapped for 48 minutes, and it took that to get this win."
