The Elevators are the official acrobatic dunk team for the Chicago Bulls. They deliver high flying acrobatic entertainment and next-level energy to Bulls basketball games. We are looking for trained gymnasts, cheerleaders, and tumblers, who are athletic and professional to add to this amazing team.
To be an Elevators member, you must meet these minimum requirements:
- Be 18 years of age by May 5, 2024
- Have reliable transportation
- Valid US Driver’s License or State ID
- Have a flexible schedule to attend games and rehearsals
- If selected, must reside or be willing to commute to the Chicago area for all rehearsals, appearances, games, etc.
- If selected for the team, a one-year contract and commitment are required, along with agreement to abide by rules and guidelines in the employee handbook.
- Understand that this is a part-time position and team members are paid for all their work. This includes rehearsals, game day, appearances, photoshoots, meetings, etc.
- Be an experienced, acrobat and a Chicago Bulls fan.
- Be athletically fit in order to perform high energy routines
Below is an overview of what to expect throughout the 2024-2025 audition process.
Clinic
Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 1:00-3:00PM CST
Doors open at 12:00pm
Location James R. Jordan Boys & Girls Club
2102 W. Monroe St., Chicago, IL
This clinic is open to any gymnasts, cheerleaders, and tumblers ages 18+. You are encouraged to wear athletic shorts, a shirt, and basketball shoes to auditions.
Pre-registration (which includes waiver of liability) is required, and will open soon.
Audition
June 8, 2024 11:00AM-1:00PM
June 9, 2024 2:00-4:00PM
*Must attend both dates to be considered

Your submission has three parts. Here are the instructions (please include ALL items or your submission will not be reviewed):
- Your contact information
- Headshot photo upload (wear clothing of your choice, no hats or sunglasses)
- Participation waiver
Should you make it to the final audition, you will be asked to show us the following:
- Mini Tramp (best skills)
- Tumbling (best skills)
- (3) Solo dunks (best dunks)
- Catch barani
- Barani bounce
- Bounce off the backboard
- Catch bounce off the backboard
- Toss
- Catch dunk
- Your best energy and crowd engagement!
