Kobe Bryant: Scores 23 Against Raptors
Update: Bryant had 23 points and seven assists in the Lakers' win over the Raptors on Sunday.
Analysis: Bryant's seven assists were a season high.
Andrew Bynum: Ties Season Scoring High
Update: Bynum had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Lakers' win over the Raptors on Sunday.
Analysis: After starting the season without much consistency, Bynum now has double-doubles in four of his last five games.
Pau Gasol: Scores 24 Against Raptors
Update: Gasol had 24 points and nine rebounds in the Lakers' win over the Raptors on Sunday.
Analysis: Gasol has had at least 12 shots in his last four games, an excellent sign for his scoring production in a crowded Laker frontcourt.
Chris Andersen: Blocks Five Shots on Sunday
Update: Andersen posted six rebounds, five blocks, four points, and two steals in 22 minutes Sunday night against Houston.
Analysis: Andersen won't get the minutes necessary to validate his inclusion in most leagues but in deep leagues he's could be very valuable, especially if you're in need of boards and blocks.
J.R. Smith: Scores 19 in 30 Minutes on Sunday
Update: Smith hit only 6-of-14 FGs on Sunday but five of them were 3-pointers during the Nuggets' victory over Houston.
Analysis: Smith's playing time has been erratic to say the least over the last two weeks. After seeing the court for just seven minutes on Saturday he obviously made it back into head coach George Karl's good graces on Sunday and responded with a solid effort. The much maligned scoring guard also added five rebounds and four assists while making both of his free throw attempts. We still suggest you tread lightly when considering Smith for your roster until he starts seeing consistent minutes.
Nene Hilario: Posts Double-Double versus Houston
Update: Nene contributed 17 points, 10 rebounds, one steal, and one assist to Denver's win over the Rockets on Sunday night.
Analysis: Solid night for Nene who was matched up against all 7'6" of Yao Ming. Nene finished 7-of-13 from the field and 3-of-3 from the line during his 35 minutes of court time and continues to be a solid start in all leagues and formats.
Chauncey Billups: Has His Best Night as a Nugget
Update: Billups posted 28 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, and two steals during Denver's 104-94 win over Houston on Sunday night.
Analysis: Billups was forced to become more of a scorer with Carmelo Anthony going down with an injury and he responded in a big way. The Nuggets' starting point guard made 9-of-18 FGs, including 4-of-9 3-pointers, and 6-of-7 FTs in the victory.
Carmelo Anthony: (Elbow) Says He'll Play Tuesday
Update: Anthony, who was removed from Sunday's victory over Houston because of a sore right elbow, insists he'll be ready to play Tuesday night against the Raptors, the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: Anthony's been bothered by the elbow since training camp, but it has gotten progressively worse the last two weeks.
Marcus Camby: (Heel) Takes It Easy
Update: Camby rested his sore right heel and did not participate in Sunday's practice, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis: Camby briefly left Saturday's win over Miami in the fourth quarter, but returned to action later in the game. His status for Tuesday's game against Dallas is day-to-day.
