Hugo
Hugo pumps up the public with his acrobatic antics and comical routines during quarter breaks and timeouts. When he's not entertaining fans in the arena, Hugo enjoys spending time flying around to visit different schools, hospitals, parties and anyone in need of encouragement and a smile. Hugo is also a big supporter of all the New Orleans Hornets community efforts like Read to Achieve and the Hornets Caravan.
Honeybees
The Honeybees dance team has helped make Hornets home games one of the hottest, most exciting events in town. The Honeybees bring an element of entertainment to Hornets games by performing innovative, choreographed dance routines to a wide variety of music during timeouts, select quarter breaks and halftime intermissions.
In-Arena Hosts
From the time the doors open to the final buzzer, you can find Rob and Brittany at Buzz Fest, on the concourse, in the stands or on the court entertaining the best fans in the NBA while Hornets PA Announcer Chuck Edwards calls the action courtside at every Hornets home game.
Stingers
The Stingers junior hip-hop dance team is a dynamic group of talented boys and girls ages 7 through 12. The Stingers perform advanced, high-energy hip-hop routines and display skills well beyond their years. The Stingers thrill Hornets fans with their breakdancing and tumbling ability, while bringing ample personality to their performances, making these mini-dancers larger than life.
Adidas Krewe
The Adidas Krewe is a group of talented men and women who share the common goal of providing first class entertainment for New Orleans Hornets Fans. Known for leading the Hornets players onto the court with the H O R N E T S flags; The Adidas Krewe can also be found in the stands and on the court assisting fans with the multiple promotions and in-game contests. Most importantly to the fans, the Krewe is responsible for tossing t-shirts. The Adidas Krewe is proudly sponsored by Adidas.”
Balcony Brigade
The Balcony Brigade is a high-energy interactive squad designed to create and retain energy from the fans of the Big Easy Balcony. Pre-game, the Brigade can be found entertaining fans outside at “Zatarain’s Buzz Fest” or in the “Big Easy Balcony,” creating balloon animals, distributing giveaways, or challenging fans to interactive games. After tip-off, the Brigade navigates fans through various chants and cheers from “Bee-fense” to “Let’s go Hornets.” The Balcony Brigade is the official interactive squad of the Big Easy Balcony.
Used to Bees
The Used To Bees senior dance team is one of the latest additions to your Hornets entertainment line-up. This lively bunch of grandmas and grandpas consists of 20 young at heart females and 3 brave gentlemen who quickly prove to you that they are better now than ever before. The Used to Bees debuted in December at the Hive and they have been a fan favorite ever since. Their routines combine some old school moves with a little bit of new for an exciting and impressive performance that you won’t soon forget. Don’t miss the Used To Bees highly anticipated return to the court and find out first hand what the entire buzz is about!
Hornets Drumline
The Hornets Drumline consists of 15 talented members from New Orleans very own Master’s Touch Drumline. Under the direction of Mr. Calvin Berry, each member is required to maintain a 3.0 or above GPA on their road to becoming well accomplished and respected musicians. The "HDL" can be seen at Hornets home games entertaining fans with their unique stick work and rhythmic sounds.
