Nash Helps Organize Charity Soccer Game
During the NBA offseason, Steve Nash and soccer player Claudio Reyna got together in New York to organize a "Showdown in Chinatown" soccer game to benefit their respective charity foundations. Photos | Video
Shaq Helps Open Reading and Learning Center
As part of Toyota Project Rebound, an unprecedented, season-long community outreach initiative by the NBA and Toyota, the Suns hosted the dedication of a new Reading & Learning Center at Hartley & Ruth Barker Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale on Wednesday, April 2. Suns star Shaquille O’Neal, NBA Legend Bob Lanier and Suns broadcaster Tom Leander were on hand at the event. Refurbishments included new carpeting and paint, furniture, computers and educational resources.

Suns Player Ticket Program
Suns players Grant Hill and Marcus Banks are providing nearly 3,000 Arizona kids the opportunity to attend a Suns home game this season through the Suns Player Ticket Program. In its third year, the Suns Player Ticket Program benefits non-profit organizations and schools throughout Arizona.
Trader Joe's "Hoops Against Hunger"
The Trader Joe’s “Hoops Against Hunger” Campaign is using the Phoenix Suns high-scoring offense to fight hunger. Trader Joe’s is donating $150 for each regular season Suns win during the 2007-08 regular season to St. Mary’s Food Bank. For their help in fighting hunger in the Phoenix area, the Suns thank Trader Joe’s, “Your Neighborhood Grocery Store.”
